Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is the best part of November I think. Nothing can be better than meeting your loved ones, having a feast with them, and talking about good things that happened in our lives. I had a really good time with my family, and I'm thankful for everything that I have. I feel blessed and loved so much by these people who are always by my side and support me all the time. I can't imagine what my life would be if they weren't here. Thanksgiving is the day that reminds me how lucky I am to be alive at this moment and living in this world with being surrounded by these lovely and most amazing people who take care of me more than anything. I feel as if I would never repay this much love. 

Talking about my family, my father's birthday is the day before Thanksgiving. Since I am living more than 10000 miles away from them, I asked my friend's help for surprising my dad on his birthday. So, I facetimed with my friend, bought some gifts for my dad, and sent her to my parent's house. The interesting thing is my friend had never met my parents before and she was so excited and nervous at the same time to meet them for the first time. Gladly, everything turned out as I planned and my dad was super delighted by that which I am so happy about. I heard they had dinner and had a wonderful time together.

    I love Thanksgiving too! It is great being with family all day and enjoying the best food. Living 10000 miles away from your dad must not be easy but I am glad to hear that you surprised him with a Facetime and gifts for his birthday.

I'm a Mongolian

     Everyone asks me where I came from and then starts to guess some other countries from Asia. Once I answer the question, they get lost or have no idea where that country is or even its existence. For this week's blog, I wanted to write a country that I think can be interesting for our classmates. In my opinion, two out of ten people know about my country, but what they know is only Genghis khan. So, you might get it; it's Mongolia.
