Experimental learning project
We have been working on a project about a non-profit organization named Promise you art house for the past few weeks. This project helped me improve my learning skills, such as working in a team, doing given tasks on time, and enhancing my interview skills. I'm glad that I had incredible teammates for this project, and I really enjoyed working with them. Everyone in our team was given a task to do, and no one in our team is a procrastinator, which I was so happy about. I'm thankful for their work and effort in this project. It has been a wonderful experience throughout this semester so far.
The most important thing that I learned from this project is conducting interviews with new people. As I already mentioned in my other blog, I went to Promise you art house and had a chance to talk about it with its owner. It was something new cause I wasn't a person interested in arts, but after seeing and listening to what she spoke about arts, I was amazed by their work, and it changed the way I think about arts. Every single piece of art in that house was beautiful and valuable. While I saw that, I wondered about how people could do this kind of stuff. Going back to what other thing that I learned from this project is writing memos even though I wasn't in charge of writing a memo for this project. After our teacher suggested, I read through Purdue OWL and learned more about what that is and how memos look like. This project also helped me connect with other students because I don't usually talk that much. Again, thanks to the team, Kory, Nolan, Rese, and Anthony. You guys are awesome!
I thought your group did great! This project taught me some things as well. I learned how to write a memo which I think could be beneficial.
