A new friend!
This week has been so much fun because I got a new friend, and we spent some time doing fun stuff. It was awesome doing something different apart from schoolwork. You might wonder why I am so excited to share this with you because I don't know many people around here, so I usually go home and basically being alone all the time. But I'm glad that I met Mike, who is the super awesome and nicest guy ever. We are in the same chemistry lab and lecture, and we both live in the dorms, so that's kind of how we met. On Wednesday, before the lecture, we had lunch together at the pizza place around campus while we were having an interesting conversation about ourselves. It felt like he was already one of my friends and like we had known each other for a while. After lunch, we came to campus and played ping-pong and pool in the game center in SULB. Gosh, I don't remember when was the last time I played it, but it was a long time ago, for sure. He got like a whole bunch of stuff in his car's trunk, such as a golf tools kit, basketball, and baseball glove and ball, and so on. He even taught me skateboarding which is a thing that I had never tried but always been interested in. Even though I fell really bad and got a bruise, it was so cool. Overall, it has been a perfect week, enjoyable and filled with full of laughter and happiness. I'm truly enjoying his company, and I'm sure we could do more things together for fun later.
I am glad to hear that you are making friends on campus. Having a friend or two definitely makes the school year easier. How is it living in the dorms here? I heard they were pretty nice, but I do not know many people that live in them.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it definitely does. Well, living in the dorm is cool and I have one roommate currently. Two of my roommates haven't moved in yet so we are supposed to be four in total.
